In Joseph’s life, God did not immediately lift him up from the pit or instantly free him from prison, but He STAYED with him IN IT until it’s purpose was fulfilled. And the purpose was this – to teach Joseph how to tap into His Presence in every situation and position. 

Today, too many of us are looking for situations to get better to only then feel secure and sure of the Presence of God. But remember this – before Joseph could FLOURISH with the power of God in a position of authority, he first got FAMILIAR with the Presence of God in a position of difficulty.
