A Private work for a Public call

A Private work for a Public call

Most of us want to be victorious and successful in front of others, like how David was when he killed Goliath in front of so many people. But we forget that before he could go against Goliath publicly, he had to triumph over the lion and the bear privately. With Goliath, he had a whole audience of people watching him, but with the lion and the bear, it was only him and no one else. And yet David kept these private, personal victories close to his heart and never forgot them. And this was the reason he was able to go against Goliath so boldly in front of everybody.

Today, like David, we need to learn how to treasure, value and celebrate those victories that no one else can see. Because what prepares you to be used by God publicly/powerfully, is all the things that happen between you and Him privately.
