Bleeding for a Blessing

“…a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding…she came up behind him…and touched his cloak…”

Mark 5:25-27

The woman with the issue of blood was not bleeding in her body alone; she was bleeding in her soul too because of her twelve-year long infirmity. In her body she was bleeding because of her medical condition, but in her soul she was bleeding for a supernatural miracle. Sometimes, the pain of suffering can afflict your soul just as much as it affects your body. But this incident was recorded to show you that even in your most weakened state [body or soul], you can still approach God and touch Him. And today, if you are bleeding WITHIN for a miracle, REACH OUT to God. He shed His Blood over 2000 years ago, but it’s still an ever-flowing fountain of healing and blessing for you. And because His Blood flowed freely, there is an end to your own bleeding.
