HOW should I wait?

HOW should I wait?

1. Wait joyfully [Character factor]:

WHAT you do is not as important as HOW you do it. This speaks of character – something that can only be developed [most often in the face of difficulty]. God does not want you struggling through the waiting process, He wants you rejoicing through it. You won’t gain anything, if you don’t rejoice in Him while you are waiting.

2. Wait patiently [Time factor]:

The waiting process is a process of patience and is irrevocably attached to the time factor that rules our world. We are IN time, but God is not. In His infinite wisdom He created time, but in His infinite power, He stays untouched by it. When you wait on God patiently, you are releasing yourself from the burden of being controlled by time, and you are stepping into a supernatural realm that is controlled by God alone and not time.

3. Wait expectantly [Faith factor]:

All your waiting is futile if you don’t expect God to come through for you. Your level of expectancy reflects your level of faith in the One in Whom you are waiting on. While you are called to wait expectantly on Him, you should also know that you are not supposed to dictate His moves and actions. Be sure that He WILL work for you; but HOW He works is left up to Him. His ways are not yours. Stay open to Him. Let Him surprise you and expand your vision, knowledge, and experience of Him, as you wait expectantly on Him.
