Make the Shift! (1 Samuel 1:10-18)

In the verses above, we see that there was a drastic, glorious shift that happened in Hannah. In Vs 10 she was crying bitterly and praying out of deep anguish; in Vs 17 Eli blesses her with a word; and in Vs 18 she stops crying, she isn’t sad and she begins to eat again. What caused the change in her? It was the Word. She RECEIVED the Word that was spoken to her. Her miracle came later, but it was the Word that brought the shift in her. Remember, the Word will always precede the miracle and receiving the Word is a pre-requisite to receiving the miracle. So don’t keep waiting to receive your miracle to only then live joyfully. But if you just receive God’s promises, you will stop struggling in your waiting, and like Hannah, you too will make the shift even BEFORE your miracle comes.

Remember – the WORD will change your CONDITION before your miracle can change your situation.
