When is it time for a miracle? (John 2:1-11 NLT)

When is it time for a miracle? (John 2:1-11 NLT)

1. When you are left with nothing:

“They have no more wine.”

John 2:3

Humans know how to survive with little. But at the wedding in Cana, the Bible does not say that they had a little wine left, it clearly says that there was no wine at all. Sometimes, it’s only when you are empty and left with nothing, that God can fully move.

2. When it feels like God won’t move:

“….that’s not our problem” Jesus replied.

John 2:4

Jesus showed no inclination to do something about the situation, and yet Mary expected Him to do a miracle by telling the servants to do whatever He tells them to do. Sometimes, it may feel like even God won’t do anything, but if you will push past these emotions and expect Him to do a miracle, He surely will!

3. When it looks like you are last

“…you have kept the best for the last.”

John 2:10

In those days, good wine was served first. In your life, it may look like all the good things are being given to everyone else first and that you are always last. But if you will still believe in God, He will show you that He has saved the best blessings for the last in line!
